Fool me once...

Yep, that is how it goes. I got fooled into watching baseball after the strike of 94 with the home run chase of Maguire and Sosa. I started to root for the SF Giants again and to hate the Dodgers once more. But you won't fool me again. Baseball has struck out with steroids and lost me as a fan. Their stance and testing is a joke at best. Records were broken that should have not been broken and Babe Ruth and Henry Aaron's records are now threatened, not by Barry Bonds but by steroids. Why? Because Barry would not be this close without taking them. Baseball gets most of the blame for this because they didn't have the balls to stand up to the union and demand the same kind of testing that the NFL and the international community does. Why? Because of ¢£¥$! That's why. Good bye and good riddance!

Ummm, so what happened on election day?

Anyone? Why did the democrats go down in flames? Was it because they were to far to the left or not far enough? I think it was the former and not the latter. Quick, name 3 prominent moderate or conservative democrats! 3.....2.....1..... Times up! I can only name 2. The governer of New Mexico and Sen. Reid from Nevada. Everyone else is 30 feet left of the left field foul pole if you get my drift. Middle america does not trust hollywood and yet who was supporting the democrats? Wow, what up with that?

First Post

OK Nothing to exciting yet. I'm glad the election is over. I hope the democrats get their collective act together or the republicans will dominate the political landscape for years to come. I'll post more of my thoughts on this later. Right now it's bed time for me.
